Longevity

Longevity
27" x 21"

Chinese brush painting is an impressionistic style of art. Nothing is drawn with pencil or sketching before the artist puts brush to "rice" paper. The spontaneous result is exciting and often more than what the artist had envisioned. The ability to produce a product which is " a feeling of the moment" and also esthetically pleasing requires dedication and practice.

In Chinese lore, the Crane is symbolic of long life, hence the name - Longevity
