This was an old house that my husband and I came across in our travels in New England. It was overgrown, but looking in the bay window one could almost fel the presence of an old woman. Perhaps it was my imagination. The visions stayed with me as I did a brief sketch in the car. When arriving home I started at once on the painting as I remembered it. It is one of my favorites.
