Cathy Ehrler, GWS

"I paint ordinary things in unexpected ways" says Cathy about her art. Strong compositions and bold color harmonies help illustrate her representational works. She is currently the president of GWS.

Cathy teaches classes and conducts workshops in her studios as well as other locations. Her credentials include Member of Excellence at the Atlanta Artists Center, signature member of the San Diego Watercolor Society and the Georgia Watercolor Society. She studied art at Washington University in St Louis, the Atlanta College of Art and the University of Louisville where she earned a BA degree. She is a member of The Blackberry Creek Artists, a group of 10 north Georgia artists who exhibit their work in shows throughout Georgia.

You can see her work in the monthly shows at the Grandview Gallery in Buckhead GA, at studio "Z" in Atlanta by appointment and in the many shows of the Blackberry Creek Artists.
