Marion W. Hylton is a portrait and landscape painter in the realist tradition working in watercolor, oil and pastel. Raised in the Upper Midwest, she was a scholarship student at the Ringling School of Art in Sarasota, Florida, and in recent years has taken numerous workshops with artists of national renown. She has been an award-winning participant in many juried art shows in the United States, has had several one-woman shows, and is a signature member of the Florida Watercolor Society and the Texas Watercolor Society. Her paintings have been in the Top 100 Arts for the Parks show six times, and have twice won Regional awards in that show. In 2006, she won the Arts for the Parks Grand Prize. Her work can be found in private collections throughout the country.
