Sally Storey Jones expresses her connection with nature through her art and wants to share that bond through her paintings. Many have described her art as between fantasy and down-home country expression. She enjoys painting subjects that touch her emotionally. Her love of art began at an early age, inspired by watching her artist-mother paint.

Most of her art consists of watercolor paintings from her own photographs. Her camera is always at hand, snapping pictures of old buildings, scenes by the roadside, or flowers in Wal-Mart.

She enjoys painting a variety of subjects, including local landmarks in Carrollton, Villa Rica, Roopville, and Douglasville. A growing collection of whimsical frog paintings comes from an offbeat sense of humor and a desire to entertain the child in each of us.

A native of Atlanta, she now lives in Fairfield Plantation, Villa Rica, and has been painting in watercolor since beginning classes with Patsy Monroe Harper in January 2003. She is a member of the Carrollton Artist Guild and the Georgia Watercolor Society.
