GWS 2011 National Exhibition
Honorable Mention
Art has always been my passion. Spending my early years in the Smokey Mountains area of Tennessee, art played a large part in my day to day life and influenced me greatly. After working with color for 10 years in the clothing industries I decided to explore the world of my own creativity. Moving to Florida in 1999 gave me the opportunity to work intensively with well know award winning watercolor artists. I currently live in a small Georgia community where I love to take photos of our local surrounding. I then take the images into my studio and create warmth and enjoyment thru they eyes of my paint brush. I feel that color is what changes an average painting to a painting that is entertaining to the viewers.
After winning many awards for my work, I have been honored with a publishing contract for the next two years with a national card company. My work can currently be seen in Georgia, Florida, and Tennessee.
