My work reflects my fascination with nature as it reflects the nature within each of us, the building, loss and rebuilding done in our lives, as well as the conflicts that result from those very activities. We mirror nature, and are a part of it, not an authority over it. The brevity of nature is compelling; conversely, its tenacity can be overwhelming. Watching the careful, or careless, construction of a bird building its nest reminds me of relationships, not only individually by globally as well. As one who is tenacious about little, my natural inclination is to explore any possible avenue, which allows me to give evidence of my experiences.
