Meeting Update
We've had so much feedback from our members to become a more active organization so on February 24th we decided to try something new. We held our first demonstration meeting at Binders in Buckhead. We had 35 members and guests watch as Judy Greenberg demonstrated her special technique using gel medium. She showed that by applying the meduim in various ways the artist can develop a composition with various textures and designs. By working on the background first in a very loose style the painting will be almost complete before the details are put in. The audience was amazed and obviously inspired. After the demonstration everyone went to the shelves of Binders and bought all of the gel medium! And everyone agreed we need to have more of these meetings.
