2007 National Exhibition
We look forward to seeing you in Carrollton in April!
The 2007 National Exhibition will be held at the Carrollton Cultural Arts Center in Carrollton, Georgia from April 21 - May 25, 2007. Activities will begin a week before the exhibition with a 5-day workshop with Skip Lawrence April 16-20. On Saturday, April 21 we will have our annual membership luncheon and meeting beginning at 1 pm, followed by a demo by Skip Lawrence as well as vendor demonstrations and giveaways. The opening reception and awards ceremony will be from 5-7pm.
The exhibition will feature 75 paintings selected from almost 500 entries. The selected works represent artists from 20 states and demonstrate the diversity and power possible in watercolor painting. If you have never been to a GWS National Exhibition, itŐs worth the trip to see these paintings.
The Carrollton Cultural Arts Center is a top-notch facility, with plenty of space for exhibition and the workshop. We are looking forward to a successful show.
